What this trial studies
This study aims to enhance a multilevel lifestyle intervention targeting cancer prevention among underserved and rural populations in Cameron and Hidalgo counties. It will incorporate an educational module focusing on the risks of alcohol consumption and its link to cancer, alongside developing training and referral systems to address social determinants of health that hinder cancer prevention behaviors. The intervention will utilize both an enhanced and original curriculum to maximize outreach and effectiveness.

Good fit: Ideal candidates are residents of Cameron and Hidalgo counties who have not previously participated in the TSSC program.
Not a fit: Patients who have already participated in the TSSC program may not receive additional benefit from this study.
