What this trial studies

This clinical trial investigates the effects of Klapp method exercises on pain, posture correction, and self-efficacy in breastfeeding females with kyphotic posture. Participants will be randomly assigned to either a group receiving Klapp exercises or a group following an at-home exercise program for one month, with sessions held twice a week. The study aims to assess improvements in posture and pain levels among participants, utilizing a sample of 32 women aged 22 to 30. Data will be collected from two hospitals in Sialkot, Punjab, using a non-probability convenience sampling technique.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are breastfeeding females aged 22 to 30 with a kyphotic angle greater than 45 degrees and moderate neck pain.

Not a fit: Patients with a history of orthopedic disorders, surgeries, or those who have not lactated may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide effective non-invasive interventions to improve posture and reduce pain in breastfeeding women.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown positive outcomes with similar therapeutic exercise approaches for postural correction, suggesting potential success for this intervention.
