Investigating the link between MRI findings and symptoms in endolymphatic hydrops

Study of the Radio-clinical Correlation of Endolymphatic Hydrops

Observational University Hospital, Strasbourg, France · NCT06910865

What this trial studies

This observational study aims to explore the correlation between radiological signs of endolymphatic hydrops observed on MRI and the clinical symptoms presented by patients. By selecting adult participants who exhibit vestibular dilation on MRI, the study will analyze how these imaging findings relate to the patients' vestibular clinical signs. The goal is to better understand the relationship between the imaging results and the clinical manifestations of the condition, which has not been previously investigated.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults aged 18 and older who show signs of vestibular dilation on MRI.

Not a fit: Patients who do not have vestibular dilation on MRI or those who oppose the reuse of their data for research will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance the diagnostic accuracy and treatment approaches for patients with endolymphatic hydrops.

How similar studies have performed: This study addresses a novel aspect of endolymphatic hydrops, as no prior studies have specifically investigated the radiological-clinical correlation in this manner.
