What this trial studies

This observational study aims to explore the relationship between lower extremity flexibility and postural stability in healthy individuals aged 18-25. It will assess how flexibility impacts dynamic postural stability, which is crucial for functional movements and injury prevention. Participants will undergo evaluations of their flexibility and postural stability to gather data on these factors. The findings could enhance our understanding of how flexibility contributes to balance and athletic performance.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are healthy individuals aged 18-25 who are willing to participate.

Not a fit: Patients with neurological, orthopedic, vestibular, or rheumatological disorders, or those with recent musculoskeletal injuries or surgeries, may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide insights that improve athletic performance and reduce injury risk in young adults.

How similar studies have performed: While the specific focus on flexibility and postural stability in this age group may be novel, related studies have shown that flexibility can influence balance and athletic performance.
