What this trial studies

This observational study aims to explore the connection between healthcare professionals' ergonomic awareness and the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders. Participants will complete an online survey that collects demographic information and assesses their ergonomic knowledge. The study will utilize the Nordic musculoskeletal disorders questionnaire to evaluate participants' musculoskeletal health, alongside the Maslach Burnout Scale to assess occupational burnout and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Questionnaire to examine sleep quality. The findings could provide insights into how improving ergonomic knowledge may reduce health issues among healthcare workers.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are healthcare workers aged 25 to 45 with at least two years of work experience.

Not a fit: Patients who have pre-existing musculoskeletal disorders, recent surgeries, or other significant health issues may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved ergonomic training for healthcare workers, potentially reducing the incidence of musculoskeletal disorders and enhancing overall well-being.

How similar studies have performed: While the relationship between ergonomics and musculoskeletal disorders has been explored in various contexts, this specific approach focusing on healthcare professionals is relatively novel.
