What this trial studies

This observational study aims to explore the relationship between quality of life and various factors such as pain, stiffness, functional status, and depression in individuals diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis. Participants aged 40 to 65 will be recruited, and their demographic information will be collected alongside assessments using validated scales like the WOMAC Osteoarthritis Index and the Beck Depression Scale. Data will be analyzed using statistical software to identify significant relationships between these factors and quality of life outcomes.

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals aged 40 to 65 who have been diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis and are willing to participate.

Not a fit: Patients with cognitive impairments or those who have undergone other orthopedic surgeries in the lower extremity may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide insights that lead to improved management strategies for enhancing the quality of life in patients with knee osteoarthritis.

How similar studies have performed: While similar studies have explored quality of life in knee osteoarthritis, this specific approach focusing on multiple factors is relatively novel.
