What this trial studies

This intervention involves adolescents completing a 4-week program where they either perform acts of kindness for others, perform acts of kindness with a reflection component, or report their daily activities. The study aims to explore the psychological benefits of kindness and prosocial behavior in adolescents, leveraging their developmental stage to enhance psychological well-being. Participants will be recruited from high schools and will be assigned to one of three groups, with regular text message prompts to encourage participation. Psychological measures will be assessed before and after the intervention to evaluate its effectiveness.
