What this trial studies
This observational qualitative project conducted semi-structured interviews with adult migrant and socially vulnerable users of the Médecins du Monde CASO in Nice between June and August 2025. Interviews explored participants' health needs, perceptions of collective health approaches, and barriers and facilitators to participation. Researchers are analyzing interview data using thematic analysis to identify common needs and practical obstacles to implementing group health promotion. The results are intended to inform the design of locally appropriate collective health programs.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Adults (18+) who are migrants or socially vulnerable users of the Médecins du Monde CASO in Nice and who can understand and speak French are ideal participants.
Not a fit: Minors, non–French speakers, and people who do not use Médecins du Monde CASO services are unlikely to benefit from or be eligible for this work.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, the findings could inform group-based health programs that better match migrants' needs and improve access to preventive care and support.
How similar studies have performed: Similar qualitative studies and pilot group programs among migrant communities have shown promising improvements in engagement and access to care, though results vary by setting.
