What this trial studies

This project evaluates the effectiveness of the #Utviklingsklar intervention aimed at preventing sports injuries among youth participating in handball and football. The intervention involves changes in coaching practices, including injury prevention warm-ups and strength training, implemented by coaches from participating clubs. Over one season, 30 clubs will be involved in a cluster-randomized study where some clubs will adopt the intervention while others continue with standard training. Players will report injuries, and qualitative data will be collected through observations and interviews to assess the process of implementation.
