What this trial studies

This study investigates how neurofeedback can enhance visual perception and visuo-motor learning by improving communication between brain regions. Participants will receive real-time feedback through auditory and tactile stimuli to increase network communication in visual brain areas. The goal is to identify effective feedback methods that allow participants to learn to maintain high levels of brain network interaction without direct sensory input. The study aims to explore the behavioral effects of these interventions on task performance.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are healthy adults aged 18 and older with normal or corrected-to-normal vision and no neurological or psychiatric conditions.

Not a fit: Patients with neurological or psychiatric diseases, those who have undergone brain surgery, or individuals with substance abuse issues may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could lead to improved visual perception and learning capabilities in healthy individuals.

How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown promise in using neurofeedback for enhancing brain network communication, but this specific approach is novel.
