What this trial studies
This study evaluates a universal school-based intervention designed to enhance the wellbeing of children aged 10 to 13 years in Ireland. The program, called A Lust for Life, consists of ten 40-minute classes that teach self-regulation skills, emotional literacy, and resilience through various instructional methods. It aims to address the mental health difficulties that affect a significant percentage of children and adolescents by providing them with practical tools to manage their emotions and social interactions. The effectiveness of this intervention will be assessed through a quasi-experimental design comparing outcomes with a waiting list control group.
