What this trial studies
This study investigates the effects of a 90-day course of the 'Power Prenatal for Sperm' supplement on sperm quality in men experiencing infertility. Male participants aged 18-45 with recent abnormal semen analysis results will be recruited from the Reproductive Care Centre. The primary outcome will focus on progressive motility, with semen analyses conducted before and after the intervention to assess changes. The study aims to determine if the supplement can significantly improve sperm parameters, thereby addressing male factor infertility.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are males aged 18-45 who have experienced infertility and have a recent abnormal semen analysis indicating low sperm count, motility, or morphology.
Not a fit: Patients with diagnosed varicocele or those currently taking antioxidant supplements may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this intervention could enhance sperm quality and improve fertility outcomes for men struggling with infertility.
How similar studies have performed: While the effects of supplements on sperm quality are debated, this approach is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested in this specific context.
