What this trial studies

This intervention focuses on enhancing the self-efficacy of psychiatric nurses through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)-based exercises. The program targets four key sources of self-efficacy beliefs: mastery experiences, vicarious experiences, verbal persuasions, and emotional and physiological states. By addressing these areas, the study aims to help nurses overcome job-related stress and perceived stigma, ultimately improving their mental health and job performance. The intervention is specifically designed for psychiatric nurses currently working in the field.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are psychiatric nurses who are currently employed and willing to participate.

Not a fit: Patients who are not psychiatric nurses or those who are not currently working in the field will not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this intervention could lead to improved mental health and job satisfaction among psychiatric nurses, enhancing their ability to provide care.

How similar studies have performed: While there is limited data on similar interventions specifically for psychiatric nurses, studies on self-efficacy interventions in healthcare settings have shown promising results.
