What this trial studies

This observational study aims to enhance the precision of training load calculations for elderly individuals participating in adapted physical activity sessions. By focusing on individualization rather than generic prescriptions, the study seeks to improve the effectiveness of physical activity programs while minimizing injury risks. It will utilize tools like the Borg Rating of Perceived Exertion scale to assess participants' perceived effort during exercises tailored to their specific health conditions and capabilities. The ultimate goal is to support healthcare professionals in optimizing physical activity interventions for older adults.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults over 65 years of age who are affiliated with the social security system and can provide informed consent.

Not a fit: Patients under protective measures or those with neurological issues affecting mobility may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to more effective and safer physical activity programs for elderly patients, improving their quality of life and reducing health risks.
