What this trial studies

This study focuses on enhancing the quality of prosthetic interventions and evaluating the effectiveness of assistive devices for patients with communication and motor disorders. Fifty participants will be recruited from the DAT Unit of the Fondazione Don Carlo Gnocchi in Milan, where they will undergo clinical evaluations and assessments at baseline and again 3 to 6 months after receiving assistive solutions. The assessments will include various scales and questionnaires administered through accessible technology to ensure inclusivity. The goal is to measure the outcomes of these interventions and their impact on patients' communication abilities and overall quality of life.
