What this trial studies

This observational study evaluates various technological advancements in MRI to enhance the performance of contrast-enhanced imaging used for angiography and perfusion, as well as non-contrast MRI. Participants will undergo non-contrast MRI scans, with the option for a second scan, and may also provide blood samples for analysis. The goal is to determine if these improvements can lead to better imaging outcomes for prostate neoplasm diagnosis and monitoring.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adults who require MRI imaging for prostate neoplasm evaluation.

Not a fit: Patients with contraindications for MRI, such as those with certain implanted devices or severe claustrophobia, may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to more accurate and safer imaging techniques for patients with prostate cancer.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in improving MRI techniques, but this specific approach is novel and untested.
