Improving MRI techniques for multiple organs in healthy volunteers
Research and Development of Novel Quantitative Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Techniques in a Single Scan for Multiple Organ Application (RADIUS)
This study is testing new MRI techniques on healthy volunteers to see if they can improve the quality and consistency of scans for different organs.

What this trial studies
This observational study aims to enhance MRI data acquisition techniques by optimizing MRI sequences for various organs. It will involve up to 200 healthy participants who will undergo a screening process followed by two MRI scans to assess the repeatability and reproducibility of multiparametric MRI. Participants will be recruited through various channels, including social media and Perspectum's networks, and will provide informed consent before participation.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are healthy adults aged 18 years and older who can provide informed consent.
Not a fit: Patients with contraindications to MRI or significant health issues that may affect their participation will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to more accurate and efficient MRI techniques that benefit future patients requiring imaging for multiple organ assessments.
How similar studies have performed: While there have been advancements in MRI techniques, this specific approach to optimizing multiparametric MRI in a single scan is relatively novel.
Eligibility criteria
