What this trial studies
This study focuses on children aged 4 to 6 who have significant difficulties in developing language skills due to developmental language disorders. Participants will undergo standardized assessments to confirm their diagnosis and will then engage in a six-week summer camp program designed to enhance their language abilities through interactive activities. The treatment involves using enhanced conversational recast techniques, where children are prompted to use specific morphemes in conversation, followed by corrective feedback from clinicians. The effectiveness of the intervention will be evaluated through follow-up assessments to measure retention of learned skills.
