What this trial studies
This study tests a culturally adapted multicomponent intervention aimed at enhancing burns care and rehabilitation for patients and their families in Pakistan. It compares the effectiveness of integrated case management with enhanced usual care, which includes brief written self-help advice. Participants will receive eight sessions from trained case managers, focusing on psychological support, emergency care, and rehabilitation. Assessments will be conducted at multiple time points to evaluate the intervention's impact on survival and overall well-being.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 18 and over who have suffered accidental burn injuries and are ready for admission to burn centers.
Not a fit: Patients with intentional burn injuries or those unable to provide informed consent will not benefit from this study.

Inclusion Criteria: * Adults 18 years and over * Accidental burn injury and meet the criteria for admission to burn centres * Clinician judgment for participation readiness * Ability to provide informed consent Exclusion Criteria: No intentional burn injuries • Lacking capacity to provide informed consent
