What this trial studies

This trial aims to evaluate the effectiveness of clinical pharmacist-led interventions over three months in improving asthma control among patients compared to standard care. Participants in the intervention group will receive tailored support and education from clinical pharmacists at the start of the study and during follow-up visits at one, three, and six months. The study addresses the high rates of poorly controlled asthma and non-adherence to treatment by integrating clinical pharmacists into patient care. By generating evidence on the impact of these interventions, the study seeks to highlight the value of clinical pharmacists in enhancing patient outcomes.
