Impact of simulation training on nursing students' confidence and stress levels
The Effect of Training Given by Simulation Method on the Self-confidence and Stress Levels of Nursing Students in Patient Intervention
NA · Istanbul Kent University · NCT06454786

What this trial studies
This study aims to evaluate how simulation training affects self-confidence and stress levels among nursing students during patient interventions. By using a randomized control design, students will be divided into experimental and control groups, with the experimental group receiving simulation-based training while the control group undergoes traditional face-to-face education. The study will assess the effectiveness of simulation in enhancing clinical skills and coping mechanisms for stress in real-life scenarios. The findings could provide insights into improving nursing education and patient care.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are senior nursing students who are willing to participate in simulation training.
Not a fit: Students who do not participate in any simulation training will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance nursing students' self-confidence and reduce stress, leading to better patient care outcomes.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown positive outcomes with simulation training in nursing education, indicating that this approach is supported by existing evidence.
