What this trial studies
This observational study aims to analyze the cardiovascular health of relatively healthy individuals by collecting comprehensive clinical data, advanced imaging results, and genetic information. Participants will undergo various assessments, including cardiac MRI, blood tests, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, to correlate these findings with adverse clinical outcomes such as myocardial infarction and stroke. The study seeks to address gaps in understanding how to interpret cardiovascular tests and improve healthcare management in Singapore.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are healthy men and women aged 21-69 years without a history of cardiovascular disease.
Not a fit: Patients with a history of myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, or other significant health conditions may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance the prediction of cardiovascular events and improve management strategies for heart health in the general population.
How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown success in using similar methodologies to assess cardiovascular health, making this approach both relevant and promising.
