Impact of Exercise Sequence on Heart Function in Heart Failure Patients
EFFECT of INTRA-SESSION EXERCISE MODES SEQUENCE on VENTRICULAR FUNCTION in PATIENTS with CHRONIC HEART FAILUIRE
This study is testing whether the order of aerobic and resistance exercises can improve heart function in men aged 55 to 65 who have chronic heart failure.

What this trial studies
This study investigates how the order of exercise modes affects ventricular function in male patients aged 55 to 65 with chronic heart failure. Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: one receiving aerobic training followed by resistance training, another receiving resistance training followed by aerobic training, and a control group receiving standard treatment only. The exercise program will be conducted three times a week for 12 weeks, with the aim of assessing improvements in heart function. The study will focus on patients with heart failure classified as NYHA Class II and III and with reduced ejection fraction.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are male patients aged 55 to 65 with chronic heart failure classified as NYHA Class II or III and HFrEF with LVEF less than 40%.
Not a fit: Patients with uncontrolled atrial fibrillation, diabetes mellitus, or other significant comorbidities may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved heart function and quality of life for patients with chronic heart failure.
How similar studies have performed: While there have been studies on exercise in heart failure, the specific sequencing of exercise modes in this context is relatively novel.
