Impact of Cryolipolysis on Insulin Resistance in Obese Individuals
Effect of Cryolipolysis on Insulin Resistance in Type 2 Diabetic Females With Abdominal Obesity

What this trial studies
This study investigates the effects of cryolipolysis, a non-invasive fat reduction technique, on insulin resistance in obese females diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Participants will undergo cryolipolysis treatment while being monitored for changes in their insulin sensitivity and blood glucose levels. The study aims to determine whether this intervention can improve metabolic outcomes in individuals struggling with obesity and diabetes. Eligible participants will be between the ages of 35 and 45, with specific inclusion criteria related to their diabetes management and body mass index.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are obese females aged 35 to 45 with a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes and fasting glucose levels above 140 mg/dL.
Not a fit: Patients who are insulin-dependent, have renal failure, cardiovascular issues, or other significant health problems may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this intervention could provide a novel approach to improving insulin sensitivity and managing type 2 diabetes in obese patients.
How similar studies have performed: While the use of cryolipolysis for fat reduction is established, its specific effects on insulin resistance in diabetic patients are novel and have not been extensively tested in previous studies.
