What this trial studies
This is an observational, questionnaire-based study that measures ecological intelligence, ecological anxiety, and sustainable dietary preferences (including organic food consumption) in adults. Participants are adults aged 18–65 who reside in Ankara and will complete validated surveys about environmental knowledge, feelings about environmental threats, and food choices. No experimental treatments are given; the study analyzes associations between attitudes and reported eating behaviors. Findings will be used to better understand drivers of sustainable nutrition choices.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Adults aged 18–65 who live in Ankara and are willing to complete questionnaires about their environmental attitudes and eating habits are ideal participants.
Not a fit: People who live outside Ankara, are younger than 18 or older than 65, or who expect direct medical treatment or immediate personal health benefits are unlikely to benefit from participating.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, the results could help design education or outreach programs that encourage sustainable and healthier eating by targeting environmental awareness and concerns.
How similar studies have performed: Previous observational studies have reported links between environmental concern and organic or sustainable food choices, though causal relationships remain unclear.
