What this trial studies

This pilot study evaluates the feasibility and satisfaction of using a telemedicine platform for balance rehabilitation in patients with multiple sclerosis (PwMS). The intervention aims to maintain rehabilitation outcomes achieved during intensive treatment by providing a home-based solution. Participants will use the Neuro Rehability system to engage in therapeutic exercises designed to improve balance, with assessments conducted to measure adherence, satisfaction, and potential challenges. The study compares this tele-rehabilitation approach to traditional maintenance treatment after intensive care.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are patients with multiple sclerosis who have a moderate level of disability and demonstrate balance impairment.

Not a fit: Patients with visual or orthopedic impairments, or those unable to perform balance rehabilitation while standing, may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this approach could enhance the long-term management of balance deficits in multiple sclerosis patients, improving their quality of life.

How similar studies have performed: Other studies have shown promise in using telemedicine for rehabilitation, suggesting potential success for this approach.
