What this trial studies
This project aims to improve nutrition security among low-income households with children by implementing a 'medically tailored grocery box delivery' program. The initiative focuses on delivering healthy and culturally appropriate groceries to families in the South Bronx, New York City, who are at risk for food insecurity. Researchers will engage with the community to design the program, assess its implementation in real-world settings, and evaluate its impact on families' access to healthy food and eating habits. The study will also compare the effectiveness of the program in enhancing dietary intake and grocery box usage.
