What this trial studies
This study evaluates the feasibility and effectiveness of a culturally tailored health promotion intervention for ultra-Orthodox Jewish mothers of children diagnosed with ADHD. It involves six weekly teletherapy group sessions aimed at reducing maternal stress, enhancing health, and improving well-being. The intervention focuses on increasing knowledge about ADHD, reducing stigma, and promoting self-care practices among mothers. Participants will complete questionnaires before and after the intervention to assess its impact.

Good fit: Ideal candidates are ultra-Orthodox Jewish mothers with a child aged 6-12 years diagnosed with ADHD.
Not a fit: Patients who may not benefit include those whose children have other major health conditions in addition to ADHD.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this intervention could significantly improve the mental health and well-being of mothers, leading to better outcomes for both mothers and their children with ADHD.
