What this trial studies
This is a randomized, double‑blind, parallel Phase 3 trial planned at multiple centers to compare co‑administration of JW0104+C2402 versus JW0104+C2403 versus C2402 alone. Adults with both hypertension and dyslipidemia who meet the study's blood pressure and LDL‑C entry criteria will be enrolled and randomized to one of the three treatment arms. The trial measures efficacy outcomes related to blood pressure and lipid levels alongside safety and tolerability endpoints. Subjects who do not meet the specified msBP or LDL‑C thresholds are excluded, and dosing and visit schedules are standardized across sites.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Adults diagnosed with both hypertension and dyslipidemia who meet the study's specified blood pressure and LDL‑C thresholds are the intended candidates.
Not a fit: People who do not meet the study's specified blood pressure or LDL‑C levels, or who have exclusionary conditions, are unlikely to be eligible or to benefit from participation.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, the combination could offer a new treatment option that improves both blood pressure and lipid control with an acceptable safety profile.
How similar studies have performed: Using combined antihypertensive and lipid‑lowering therapies is an established clinical approach, but these specific drug combinations are novel and have limited prior Phase 3 evidence.
