What this trial studies
This observational project uses a questionnaire distributed to physicians practicing in France to measure knowledge about tick-borne encephalitis (TBE), its early signs, and prevention after tick exposure. The work is motivated by a recent series of cases in France with high hospitalization rates, highlighting the need for early recognition and follow-up. Responses will be analyzed to identify knowledge gaps and common misconceptions. Findings will be used to inform targeted clinician education and public-health messaging in at-risk areas.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal participants are medical doctors practicing in France, including general practitioners and physicians in training or doctoral students who provide primary care and agree to complete the survey.
Not a fit: Clinicians who do not see patients at risk for tick exposure or those practicing outside France are unlikely to benefit directly from the study findings.

Potential benefit: If successful, the results could identify knowledge gaps and guide targeted training and prevention efforts to improve early diagnosis and reduce severe outcomes from TBE.
