This program aims to enhance nutrition behaviors in disadvantaged communities by training community leaders to implement food literacy workshops. It focuses on equipping these leaders with the necessary skills to promote healthy food choices and improve health outcomes among their peers. The initiative recognizes the importance of addressing not just nutritional knowledge but also the competencies and self-efficacy needed to translate this knowledge into positive behavior changes. The workshops will be tailored for both Hebrew-speaking and Arabic-speaking communities in Israel.
