What this trial studies
This observational study focuses on women over 18 who have suffered from incest or rape, utilizing a qualitative and exploratory approach. Participants will complete a specially designed sexo-psychomotor questionnaire during their first meeting, which will guide personalized therapy sessions aimed at enhancing body and emotional awareness. These sessions, lasting approximately 45 minutes and occurring every 15 days or 3 weeks, will incorporate various therapeutic techniques tailored to the individual needs of the participants. The goal is to help women better understand their sexual agency and promote healing through self-exploration.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are women over 18 who have experienced incest or rape and can communicate in French.
Not a fit: Patients who do not speak or understand French or who refuse to participate will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could empower women to reclaim their sexual agency and improve their emotional well-being after trauma.
How similar studies have performed: While this approach is exploratory and specific to the context of sexual agency, similar qualitative studies have shown promise in therapeutic settings for trauma survivors.
