What this trial studies
This observational cohort study aims to investigate how imaging data correlates with the tumor microenvironment and prognosis in lung cancer patients. Conducted at Wuhan Union Hospital, it will involve patients treated for lung cancer from July 2024 to July 2027, who have undergone at least one chest CT scan and have a confirmed diagnosis through tissue biopsy. The study will analyze the relationship between imaging characteristics and clinical outcomes to enhance understanding of lung cancer progression.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults over 18 years old who have been treated for lung cancer at Wuhan Union Hospital and have undergone a chest CT scan.
Not a fit: Patients with poor image quality, incomplete clinical data, or other primary malignancies may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to improved prognostic tools and personalized treatment strategies for lung cancer patients.
How similar studies have performed: While the specific approach of radiogenomics in lung cancer is still emerging, similar studies have shown promise in correlating imaging features with tumor biology.
