What this trial studies

This observational study investigates the impact of Reiki therapy on metabolic parameters in patients diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and obesity. It aims to enhance treatment compliance by addressing barriers faced by patients, such as medication adherence and lifestyle changes. Participants will be monitored for their attitudes and behaviors towards diabetes management, with a focus on improving their overall health outcomes through Reiki interventions. The study emphasizes the importance of patient education and self-management in diabetes care.

Not a fit: Patients who do not comply with the principle of voluntarism or those who are unable to complete data collection forms may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could improve metabolic health and treatment compliance in obese patients with Type 2 diabetes.
