What this trial studies

This observational study aims to investigate the vaginal and oral microbiomes by collecting swab samples from participants. In selected cases, a pap smear will also be performed to analyze the composition of the normal vaginal microbiome and the interaction between the oral and vaginal mucosa. Additionally, the study will explore the impact of human papillomavirus on the microbiome and vice versa, providing insights into their relationship.
