What this trial studies
This study investigates the predictors and factors associated with mental health issues such as depression and anxiety in hospitalized patients recovering from COVID-19, as well as non-COVID patients in Germany. It aims to understand the relationships between loneliness, self-efficacy, and social support, and to evaluate the effectiveness of psychological interventions on these mental health outcomes. The research will utilize both correlational methods and experimental group comparisons to assess the impact of physical and social activities on mental health. The study is grounded in established psychological theories related to loneliness and self-efficacy.
