What this trial studies
This study investigates the impact of parental emotion regulation on the emotional and behavioral outcomes of children and adolescents aged 7 to 17. It consists of two parts: the first part identifies factors related to parental emotional socialization and how parental emotional dysregulation affects children's emotional difficulties. The second part evaluates the effectiveness of a parental emotional coaching program aimed at improving children's emotion regulation and reducing symptoms of psychopathology. Participants will complete questionnaires and may engage in a randomized controlled trial if they consent.
