What this trial studies
This study investigates how a digital artwork that combines music with Impressionist paintings affects emotional responses, particularly in individuals experiencing ecoanxiety due to climate change. It focuses on young adults and older individuals, assessing their emotional reactions to the artwork as a potential intervention for managing ecoanxiety. Participants will engage with the artwork and provide feedback on their emotional experiences, contributing to a better understanding of art's role in mental health. The study aims to explore innovative ways to reconnect individuals with nature and improve emotional well-being.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are individuals aged 18 to 35 or 60 and over who experience ecoanxiety and can engage with the artwork.
Not a fit: Patients with severe psychobehavioral disorders or significant visual or hearing impairments may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this intervention could provide a novel approach to alleviating ecoanxiety and improving mental health among affected individuals.
How similar studies have performed: While the specific approach of using digital art and music is novel, previous studies have shown that art and nature-based interventions can positively impact mental health.
