What this trial studies
This study investigates the biological distribution of a novel tracer, 68Ga-FAPI-JNU, in patients with malignant tumors using PET/CT imaging. After administering the tracer, imaging is performed approximately one hour later, and the distribution is evaluated by experienced diagnostic physicians. The study aims to map standardized uptake values in both primary and metastatic tissues, providing insights into the tracer's effectiveness in cancer detection.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are adults aged 18-85 with clinically diagnosed malignant tumors.
Not a fit: Patients with a history of allergies to the tracer components or those unable to undergo PET/CT scans may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance the accuracy of cancer imaging and improve treatment planning for patients with malignant tumors.
How similar studies have performed: While the use of novel tracers in PET imaging is an evolving field, this specific approach with 68Ga-FAPI-JNU is relatively novel and has not been extensively tested in prior studies.
