What this trial studies

This quasi-experimental single-group pre-post design enrolls voluntary textile workers at Lacor Textil and delivers an eight-week hybrid intervention combining weekly in-person workshops with two asynchronous app-based exercise sessions per week. Participants receive individualized exercise prescriptions after a comprehensive baseline assessment, with the same assessment repeated at the end of the intervention and again after a four-week follow-up. Workshops cover pain management, self-efficacy, mobility, stress and sleep hygiene, while exercises focus on mobility, core stability and progressive strengthening tailored to perceived exertion. Adherence is tracked via attendance records and digital app logs, and only participants completing at least 80% of the program are included in the final analysis with outcomes including perceived pain, functional measures and psychosocial indicators.

Who should consider this trial

Good fit: Ideal candidates are Lacor Textil employees aged 18-65 who can attend weekly workplace sessions, use the mobile app, and are not receiving concurrent physiotherapy or on sick leave.

Not a fit: Workers with severe exercise-contradicting musculoskeletal conditions, those who are pregnant, currently receiving physiotherapy, on temporary sick leave, or who complete less than 80% of the program are unlikely to benefit.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, the program could reduce musculoskeletal pain, improve function and psychosocial well-being, and support work ability among textile workers.

How similar studies have performed: Previous workplace programs combining exercise and education have reported modest to meaningful reductions in musculoskeletal pain and improved function when adherence is high.
