What this trial studies

This observational study investigates the impact of smartphone addiction on neck posture, proprioception, and balance among university students aged 18-45. It aims to clarify the relationship between excessive smartphone use and various physical symptoms, including neck pain and balance issues. Participants will be assessed for their smartphone usage patterns and related physical conditions to understand how addiction may affect their daily lives. The study seeks to fill a gap in the literature regarding the physical consequences of smartphone addiction.

Not a fit: Patients with orthopedic, neurological, psychiatric, or otological diseases, as well as those diagnosed with vertigo, may not benefit from this study.

Why it matters

Potential benefit: If successful, this study could provide insights into the physical health impacts of smartphone addiction, leading to better management strategies for affected individuals.
