What this trial studies
This observational study investigates the impact of recurrent miscarriages on the outcomes of subsequent pregnancies. It aims to determine if there is a correlation between a history of recurrent miscarriage and adverse pregnancy outcomes. The study will include women who have experienced two or more early pregnancy losses but have no anatomical abnormalities in their reproductive tract and are currently pregnant with a single fetus. By analyzing these cases, the study seeks to provide insights into the challenges faced by these patients during their pregnancies.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are women who have had two or more early pregnancy losses and are currently pregnant with a single fetus.
Not a fit: Patients with chronic hypertension, chronic kidney diseases, autoimmune diseases, or those experiencing multiple pregnancies may not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could help identify risk factors and improve management strategies for women with a history of recurrent miscarriage.
How similar studies have performed: While there have been studies on recurrent miscarriage, this specific observational approach focusing on current pregnancy outcomes is less common and may provide novel insights.
