What this trial studies
This observational study aims to assess the prevalence of internet addiction among adults in Hong Kong and its effects on their psychological well-being. Participants aged 18-40 will complete questionnaires that evaluate their internet usage, levels of depression, anxiety, sleep quality, and overall quality of life, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of the Metaverse. Inclusion Criteria: * Adults aged 18-40 * Resided in Hong Kong * Can speak Cantonese and write Chinese Exclusion Criteria: * Self-reported to have identified cognitive problems and communication problems
