What this trial studies
This study investigates the relationship between sport nutrition knowledge and self-reported physique concerns on eating behaviors among elite athletes. It aims to recruit 28 athletes competing internationally for Canada and will utilize a pre-test and post-test quasi-experimental design over 12 weeks. Participants will undergo various assessments, including nutrition knowledge questionnaires, food intake journals, and body composition analysis, to evaluate the effectiveness of individualized nutrition counseling. The study is conducted at the Institut National du Sport du Québec, focusing on improving nutrition knowledge and eating habits to combat low energy availability in athletes.

Inclusion Criteria: * Over 18 years of age * Active to participate in training and competition * Able-bodied sport program * Having given informed consent Exclusion Criteria: * Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire 6.0 total score \> 2.50 (women) and \> 1.68 (male) * Unable to understand spoken and written English
