What this trial studies
This study evaluates a modified parental support program called Little ACF, designed for parents of children aged 1-2 years. The program aims to enhance parenting strategies, emotional regulation, and child well-being by providing support through Child Health Care (CHC) centers in Sweden. Parents will be recruited during routine health visits, and their experiences will be compared to those receiving standard care. The goal is to determine the effectiveness of Little ACF in promoting positive parenting practices and reducing child behavior problems.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are parents of children aged 1-2 years who are registered at participating Child Health Care centers.
Not a fit: Parents who require an interpreter will not benefit from this study due to language barriers.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this program could significantly improve parenting skills and child well-being for families with young children.
How similar studies have performed: Previous studies of the original ACF program have shown positive effects, indicating potential success for this modified approach.
