What this trial studies
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the SuperKids Program, an 8-session cognitive-behavioral intervention designed for Spanish preschool children aged 4 to 6. The program focuses on enhancing children's emotional management and social interaction skills to address early emotional problems. Utilizing a controlled trial with a 2 x 3 factorial design, the study will compare pre- and post-assessment results of children in the intervention group against those on a waiting list. Parents and children will provide feedback at baseline, post-treatment, and during a 12-month follow-up to assess the program's impact.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are preschool children aged 4 to 6 who are experiencing emotional problems.
Not a fit: Children with intellectual disabilities, severe behavioral symptoms, or those currently receiving treatment for anxiety or depression may not benefit from this study.

Inclusion Criteria: * Children aged 4 to 6 years. Exclusion Criteria: * Intellectual disability, behavioral symptoms or autistic spectrum symptoms whose severity prevented the continuation of treatment. * Current psychological or pharmacological treatment for anxiety and/or depression. * Not accepting or revoking informed consent to participate in the study.
