What this trial studies

This study aims to assess the effects of Multiple Traffic Light (MTL) front-of-pack food labels on the diet quality of grocery shoppers in Bahrain. Using a two-arm randomized controlled trial, participants will shop online at Bahrain e-Mart, with one group exposed to MTL labels and the other to a control version without labels. The MTL labels provide clear nutritional information, helping consumers make healthier food choices. The study will analyze how these labels influence purchasing decisions and overall diet quality.

Inclusion Criteria:

* People who are residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain
* Age of 21 and above,
* Arabic OR English speakers and readers, and
* A weekly primary grocery shopper for their households can participate in this study.

Exclusion Criteria:

* People who are not residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain
* Under 21 years of age,
* Cannot speak or read Arabic AND English, or
* Are not weekly primary grocery shoppers for their households cannot participate in this study.
