What this trial studies

This observational study aims to assess the prevalence of elevated lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)] levels among volunteer medical students at the Faculty of Medicine, University Hospital of Ioannina, Greece. It will collect demographic information, family and medical history, and lifestyle habits to analyze the association of these factors with Lp(a) levels. The study seeks to highlight the importance of awareness and early diagnosis of elevated Lp(a) as a cardiovascular risk factor in this population.
