What this trial studies
This research aims to assess how clinical and anatomical factors influence the accuracy of fully guided dental implant placement in patients with partial edentulism. Utilizing pre-operative cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and intraoral digital impressions, a precise surgical plan will be developed for implant positioning. Each patient may receive up to four implants, with a custom-designed surgical guide created using advanced digital imaging techniques. The study will be conducted by an experienced operator to ensure optimal outcomes.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates are patients aged 25 to 60 with partial edentulism and stable periodontal health.
Not a fit: Patients with active infections, untreated periodontal disease, or those who are completely edentulous will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could enhance the precision of dental implant placements, leading to improved functional and aesthetic outcomes for patients.
How similar studies have performed: Previous studies have shown promising results with guided implant placement techniques, indicating potential for success in this approach.
