Evaluating emergency call patterns in the Bas-Rhin sector
State of Play at the SAMU 67: What Are the Themes Mainly Concerned by the Second Intention SMUR, Called Reinforcements, on the Sector of the Bas-Rhin? Are There Modifiable Factors That Could Allow us to Anticipate Them Better

What this trial studies
This observational study aims to assess the factors influencing emergency calls to the SMUR service in the Bas-Rhin region. By analyzing data from adult patients who received pre-hospital care from SMUR between January and July 2020, the investigators hope to identify trends and themes that could lead to improved response times and patient care. The study focuses on optimizing the dispatch process for emergency medical services based on historical data. The ultimate goal is to enhance the efficiency of emergency medical responses in the region.
Who should consider this trial
Good fit: Ideal candidates for this study are adult patients who received pre-hospital care from SMUR during the specified period.
Not a fit: Patients who opposed the reuse of their medical data for research purposes will not benefit from this study.
Why it matters
Potential benefit: If successful, this study could lead to faster and more effective emergency medical responses for patients in need.
How similar studies have performed: While this approach is observational and may not have been extensively tested in this specific context, similar studies have shown promise in optimizing emergency response systems.
